To keep the prompt posts more manageable in size for modding, this post is closed to new prompts now. New Prompts should go in Prompt Post #19.

This post remains open, however, for you to link fills or express your excitement over prompts you would like to see filled.

There are still many, many gorgeous prompts in this post that have not yet been written or drawn. For easier browsing, check out the Pinboard.

Remember:

Any characters, any ship, any trope, any kink are welcome (with the sole exception of sexual scenarios involving human(oid) characters under 14).

Each prompt gets a new comment directly under the post. Don't use threaded comments for new prompts. Only squee, encouragement, and links to fills go in the comments responding to individual prompts.

Prompts should be posted anonymously to make sure that everyone's prompts are treated equally.

Please use a header with your character(s)/pairing and a keyword or short phrase (For example: "Andy/Quynh, Make-up sex" or "Nicky/Joe/Booker, first time DP").

Additional Information: We're thinking about changing how long we let prompt posts run after this one. However, this prompt post will be closed off at the end of January so that we can do a Fill Fest in time for Femslash February. Happy prompting!

OP again! You know, I used to think my 5 years of Italian in school were on the whole pointless, since I never got to use it anywhere after, but I got to laugh SO HARD at "Sto cercando uno sposo” and you know what? Worth it!

Also

“You’re just the man I’ve been looking for! Have I said something queer?”

Yes, I'm aware of what the word used to mean, but still..............sensiblechuckle.gif

I love this so much and I'm so excited for the rest <3

I like you, OP. You get all my jokes!

I don't actually speak Italian, but I'm a native French speaker, so I'm relying on my common sense & some diligent cross-checking with several dictionaries for my vocabulary. When I came across "Sposo," which is sometimes glossed as "groom" and not "bridegroom," I decided I had to use it. The image of Joe bursting into a room full of men and telling him he's looking for someone to marry? Delightful.

And the best part about writing historical fiction? You get to use "queer" as a double-entendre.

I'm on a roll, so I'll be posting the next vignette tomorrow: Nicolò gets caught in the rain looking for a stray horse and Lord Joseph worries for his health.

"I'm looking for a husband!"

And Niccolo was just 'yo over here!'

I love this so much. And YeSSS we stan a good caught-in-the-rain drama in period romance!
