I think it can be a sensitive topic in today's political and racial climate (Arabic men stereotyped with their harems of virgins) so that's probably at least partly why it hasn't been done yet.

But a polymorous relationship could also be a good thing- you have a built in support group right there. Show me the building relationships, the intimacy, the comfort of knowing there’s this group of people who shares in your life and is there for you. And honestly? I hate standard relationships because being the sole emotional focus of another person 24/7 can be both exhausting and intimidating. I’ve avoided dating for the last decade for this reason.

You could have the guard fill out out the rest of the harem and that right there? That would be an emotional security blanket that I can get behind.

Hey genuine question: are you the op of this prompt?

If yes and you’re making addendum to this fic then of course, add away, these are interesting ways to make a twist on this prompt that can entice a potential writer. I’ll gladly repost this prompt underneath and hope it’ll get filled in its original form.

If not then this is prompt is being hijacked and that’s generally frowned upon on kink memes, especially in contexts of the prompt being “problematic”.
