To keep the prompt posts more manageable in size for modding, this post is closed to new prompts now. New Prompts should go in Prompt Post #23. 

Before you post a new prompt, please take a moment to browse the Pinboard to see if someone else has already requested what you would like to see. We very much encourage variations on the same theme, but want to avoid exact replications of the same prompt. 

Remember: 

Any characters, any ship, any trope, any kink are welcome (with the sole exception of sexual scenarios involving human(oid) characters under 14). 

Each prompt gets a new comment directly under the post. Don't use threaded comments for new prompts. Only squee, encouragement, and links to fills go in the comments responding to individual prompts.

Prompts should be posted anonymously to make sure that everyone's prompts are treated equally.

Please use a header with your character(s)/pairing and a keyword or short phrase (For example: "Andy/Quynh, Make-up sex" or "Nicky/Joe/Booker, first time DP").

Joe/Nicky: Joe's family semi-adopts Nicky. Rivals to lovers. AU

Joe has to move far away from his family for school/work. While he's away, he starts hearing stories from his family members about this neighbor guy named Nicky. Nicky fixed grandma's computer. Nicky gave Mama a ride to the doctor. Nicky helped Joe's little sister with homework. Nicky plays football/soccer with Joe's little brother. Joe's entire family seems to love this random neighbor and it's driving him crazy. That's HIS family, and who the hell is this random jerk who practically got himself adopted as soon as Joe went away?

So Joe goes back to visit for a holiday/wedding/other major event. He's storming mad and ready to give this Nicky asshole a piece of his mind. As soon as he walks in, he's temporarily distracted by the incredibly hot man who's randomly hanging out with his family, and oh. Oh fuck. Nicky's the hot guy.

Up to fill how long (if at all) they have a rivalry after that, but eventually, Joe ends up being the al-Kaysani who's most won over of all by Nicky.

+If Joe has spent WEEKS talking how he's going to deal with this Nicky asshole once and for all. Then when he comes back, his buddy Booker/Andy/Nile/whoever is like "So how'd it go with Nicky?" and Joe's like Ummmm....
+If Nicky's family of origin is absent/shitty and that's why he gravitates so strongly to Joe's.
