This is inspired by the fact that there are more bottoms in the gay community than tops, so tops are sort of a prized rarity. In particular, it's inspired by a question on Quora:

"In the gay community are there more bottoms than tops?"

And this reply it got:

"I did an experiment a few years ago. One day, I listed my “role” as top on Growlr. I was getting messages every minute or so. I even had to turn my phone off after being woke up by notifications all night.

The next day, I switched to “bottom.”……crickets."

So. Joe and Nicky meet on a gay dating app. Both are switches but Joe listed himself as a top to get more messages. Nicky meanwhile listed himself as a bottom after a little while because he got annoyed by more than half of the messages he got. He'd rather look for and message men himself. Joe and Nicky find each other and start dating. Problem is, Joe absolutely loves getting railed. He likes topping, too, but he doesn't want to be one exclusively. He's afraid of Nicky being disappointed if he tells him. And Nicky has no idea how to tell Joe that, while he loves bottoming too, he would also love servicing Joe and give him the same kind of pleasure in return. Is afraid of Joe getting offended if he suggested they switch.

The issue gets resolved when Nicky stumbles upon Joe fucking himself with a dildo. Joe looks like a deer in headlights when he gets caught. He tries to explain himself, but to his surprise, Nicky's not disappointed. No. Nicky grins like a wolf, eyes full of hunger. And Joe finally *finally* gets to be fucked like he deserves. By a Nicky who fucks like a machine.
