Nicolo is taken from priesthood and shoved into Yusuf's bed for political reasons - it's less than ideal, but they both consent to it. Nicolo has never broken his vows and he's afraid of his husband.

However, the more they spend time together, the more Nicolo realizes his husband doesn't want to hurt him. Quite the opposite: he wants a partner who's willing to tame him.

Over the years, various members of the guard (could just be Quynh and Andy, or mpreg is totally fine!) have gotten pregnant, but never carried through. It's not a problem at first, but at a certain point their healing factor kicks in and their bodies reject the fetus the same way they would an injury or illness. How do they feel about this? Has anyone ever been excited to have a baby only to lose it? Do they just view it as a permanent form of birth control? Idk, just a thought I had.

Nicky is a soon-to-be medical doctor who's currently doing an internship at Merrick Pharmaceuticals. He's together with artist Joe and they want to marry when Nicky is finished. Everything seems to be fine.

But then, during a routine check, a doctor discovers that Joe has [ Insert illness of choice]. And they say he's only a few months remaining. Both, Joe and Nicky, are devastated. That's not how they planned their Future.

Nicky finds out that Merrick Pharmaceuticals is currently working on a therapy for Joe's problem. And they already test it on humans, the approval as good as certain, it is just a matter of time. Time Joe doesn't have.

And so Nicky goes to Merrick to ask him if Joe can be one of the test persons. It's the only way to get the medicine he needs.

Merrick is a pervy bastard and the moment he sees Nicky a creepy idea comes up in him. He tells Nicky that he will give Joe the medicine... when Nicky dumps Joe and becomes his to do with whatever he wants... whether Joe survives or dies...

Nicky doesn't want to dump Joe. But he also doesn't want hin to die and Merrick's medicine is Joe's only chance to survive. And so he agrees...

Nicky is a hugely famous Christian singer (based on the way Luca sings I'm thinking probably something along the line of Skillet or Switchfoot, he's CCM for the """cool""" kids). He's never said anything blatantly homophobic, or about his relationships, so when he comes out as gay he doesn't get why so many people are surprised by it? He REALLY wasn't expecting the vitriol directed his way from former fans who view his relationship as some sort of personal betrayal.

Joe inherits (or otherwise comes into possession) of a new muscle/sports car. It's a hot car and will be a great ride one day, but it needs a ton of work done first. Joe's an artist and he hasn't the faintest idea of how to fix up the car himself, but one of his friends recommends him to Nicky, car fanatic and auto garage owner. Joe may not care much about cars but he DEFINITELY likes watching Nicky get all sweaty and grimy while elbow-deep in the engine of Joe's new car. He also loves it when Nicky pins him down to the hood of the car and fucks his brains out.

Oh yes!! Please!!

Joe and Nicky get together after a rocky start. Joe's longtime bff is in town after a long absence and Nicky wants to make a good impression. Especially since Nile loves Joe! Unbeknownst to him, Booker has had to deal with Joe's mediocre boyfriends in the past and has long learned to start to low-key troll them. (You like this thing? I hate that thing.) Nicky has a lot of patience and an excellent Poker face. Joe is a bit confused but it feels like they're getting along??

Joe and Nicky have been separated for a long period of time (off on separate missions, delayed by travel difficulties, etc.). When they are finally back together, they of course go off for some reunion sex. Nicky gets a little overexcited to be with his husband again and comes almost instantly. He’s embarrassed but Joe thinks it’s hot as hell that he can still have that effect on Nicky after so many years together.

Joe and Nicky take breaks between the centuries and had taken few lovers before coming back together. This time, however, Nicky and Booker become a couple. Of course, both Joe and Booker have no intention of sharing Nicky, despite Nicky saying his heart is big enough for both of them. Being annoyed with their childish acts, Nicky left them and never bothered looking back. It took nearly an hour of nonstop bickering when they finally noticed Nicky is gone, along with his things. It took years to finally track him down and found him living alone with a dog and a cat. Needless to say, throughout the years of being together looking for Nicky, they managed to fall in love with each other.

Joe has to move far away from his family for school/work. While he's away, he starts hearing stories from his family members about this neighbor guy named Nicky. Nicky fixed grandma's computer. Nicky gave Mama a ride to the doctor. Nicky helped Joe's little sister with homework. Nicky plays football/soccer with Joe's little brother. Joe's entire family seems to love this random neighbor and it's driving him crazy. That's HIS family, and who the hell is this random jerk who practically got himself adopted as soon as Joe went away?

So Joe goes back to visit for a holiday/wedding/other major event. He's storming mad and ready to give this Nicky asshole a piece of his mind. As soon as he walks in, he's temporarily distracted by the incredibly hot man who's randomly hanging out with his family, and oh. Oh fuck. Nicky's the hot guy.

Up to fill how long (if at all) they have a rivalry after that, but eventually, Joe ends up being the al-Kaysani who's most won over of all by Nicky.

+If Joe has spent WEEKS talking how he's going to deal with this Nicky asshole once and for all. Then when he comes back, his buddy Booker/Andy/Nile/whoever is like "So how'd it go with Nicky?" and Joe's like Ummmm....
+If Nicky's family of origin is absent/shitty and that's why he gravitates so strongly to Joe's.
