Joe accidentally drops something very precious of his in a pond. Unfortunately for him, that pond is home to a naiad named Nicky (nice alliteration) who will not think twice about drowning any who enters his pond and refuses to give Joe his item back. So Joe decides to come to the pond everyday to annoy Nicky into giving him his thing back.
+ In this verse, Naiads can become mortal by exiting the body of water in which they live (Which they never do and it'd take a lot for them to do so). In the water, they are immortal and drown people for sport (because they think human lives are so fleeting). So you have to be extremely weary around bodies of water.
