Booker & OMCs, Napoleonic reenactors

Booker is lazing around on a weekend in Paris during his exile, not drunk for once, and he sees a flyer for a re-enactment of a Napoleonic army camp in a small town nearby. He decides to go on a whim, thinking it’ll be entertaining to make fun of all the historical inaccuracies.

He doesn’t expect it to bring back some fond memories of laughing and joking with his fellow soldiers, or to be impressed that actually it’s mostly historically accurate, and honestly the guys doing it are super nice and welcoming.

Booker starts going to all their events and makes a ton of friends and helps them get all the details of their costumes right (he tells them he studied the period in grad school). It’s the most fun he’s had in years.
