At some point after Immortal!Keane has joined the team, the team is hiding in plain sight by living in the suburbs and pretending to be civilians between missions. They live as a family and befriend the neighbors to fit in. When the rest of the team is out of the house, Keane sees an opportunity to try to hurt Nicky. One, or more, of the neighbors hear Nicky's sounds of distress and intervenes and stops the assault. I just would love some normal people caring about Nicky and coming to his rescue.
