Modern AU. Nicky works at some sort of "nerd shop" (could be a video game store, but honestly I was envisioning like... a sword store or something), when a new store for fancy suits moves in next door. Joe works at the suit shop.
I'd love to see the rest of the team and where they wind up working. Mostly I'm just here for the image of Joe in a fancy suit and dorky sword gremlin Nicky being completely heart eyes over him (which is, of course, returned, because Joe has a Type and it's Nicky).
