Nile is a spirit/god/guardian/magical being. Booker is the sexual offering for that being to bring harvest/good fortune/luck to the village. Booker volunteered because it is an honor and a privilege and honestly they’ve been waiting their whole life for the opportunity.
But like the original Propmty said- He has to stay blindfolded and Cant see Nile. Also perhaps spirit/god/guardian/magical being Nile takes a liking to Booker and absconds with him back to her usual dwelling place.....
