Hi, OP here. just wanted to say this was absolutely BRILLIANT and i love this fic with my whole heart!

the part where they find Quỳnh? i cried a little bit.

“My husband is of course the most charming man on Earth,” said Nicky, because, Nile guessed, it was really easy to be secure in your relationship when you had a sniper rifle pointed at the woman your husband was flirting with.

This time, though, Joe had crawled out of the ruins of a collapsed building with his entire left side drenched in dark arterial blood, and – the immediate danger having passed, and nobody else having been in the building – Nicky had promptly grabbed him and kissed him like they were filming the climactic scene in a romance movie, bent over backwards a little and everything.
okay, what the hell. i shouldn't be laughing. this is a very serious scene. one of them is hurt and bleeding!
... and yet. here i am. sorry.

(i really want to draw this scene. would you be okay with this? it's okay if not, don't worry :D)

i love your writing. and your take on the characters. i love them all but your Nile may be my favourite? there is just something about her.... idk. it's too early for me to think like a normal human being so *insert marge simpson "i think they're neat" meme here*
