Nicolò stretched out on the elegant couch, throwing off the sheet he’d had wrapped around his body and letting it drape low on his hips. Giuseppe’s breath caught at the sight, then he laughed softly and lowly. Nicolò glanced over his shoulder, grinning, and Giuseppe couldn’t help but grin back and give him a little wink, just to see Nicolò laugh and bury his face in his arms.

“This should not take long,” Giuseppe said as he began to mix up the paint ingredients on his palate. “I think I’ve finally figured out the right recipe to use for the paint...”
