This was lovely ☺️ it’s late and I’m very tired from work so my articulation is not that great but I loved the way you contrasted Nile’s POV of finding her joy and settling into who she is with the comfort of a family that she’s easing into because what a difference it makes when you’re not afraid of judgment from those with the most power to hurt you (can’t relate haha homophobia sucks).

My favorite bit is the part with Dizzy because of tangible reasons. Especially the comparison between softer female bodies vs male bodies because that’s really such a thing that sticks out in the forefront of the mind for such a long time when trying to figure out attraction and sexuality.

I enjoyed this piece, enjoyed the realism too. Here for Nile being her best lady loving self. Thanks for sharing.
