OK so I'm Lutheran not Catholic, and we always host Vacation Bible School over the summer for tall the neighborhood kids (basically a summer camp for kids to learn about Jesus and sing songs and play games) for a week. Basically you say a morning prayer, then the kids are split into groups and do activities to learn about Jesus

Modern AU where Nile volunteers to help out at her local church as a counselor for Vacation Bible School and ropes Booker, Joe, Andy and Quynh into helping out because the church was low on volunteers

+Quynh is on arts and crafts station, Andy is on games station, and Booker becomes the group leader to bring the kids to each activity. Nile helps out with leading the morning prayer and Joe is on kitchen duty for when the kids need lunch

++Joe is absolutely smitten with the hot priest at Nile's church and they all tease him- at one point Andy is singing Jesus Loves Me but replacing Jesus with Nicky to make fun

+++Nile told Nicky beforehand her friends either don't practice Christianity (Joe practices Islam) or they are just here to help out so Nicky doesn't force them into morning prayer or anything because they're already being nice enough to help out when they don't have to, and not everyone practices the same way
