Andy, Nile, Booker, Joe, and (optionally depending on how you want to adapt their canon fates) Quynh and Lykon are a team of thieves. They're dedicated to robbing the richest assholes they can and redistributing the wealth to the best of their ability -- with a healthy cut to sustain their own lifestyles, of course.

Enter their latest target, Di Genova Industries. Its President/CEO is a wealthy tycoon, and based on the team's intelligence, the best weak spot is the President/CEO's son Nicolo, a seemingly dedicated employee of the company with a lot of access to valuable information. Nicolo also happens to be very gay and very closeted. Joe is sent in to seduce him and obtain his company access codes/badges/etc. if he can, and to blackmail him into helping the team if he can't.

Except Joe does the "seducing" part of the job a little too well. Not only do he and Nicky have ridiculous sexual chemistry, they fall deeply, achingly, exhilaratingly in love. Now Joe has to choose between telling Nicky the truth and potentially blowing up the whole mission, or keeping quiet and knowing Nicky will be heartbroken when the heist is complete and the team leaves. And if Nicky were to choose to help them, he would be in particular danger as the team's inside man. The rest of the team may be willing to accept that risk -- but Joe isn't.
