After what seems like just another run death (shooting, stabbing, something "simple" like that), the resurrection process is for some unknown reason much more prolonged and horrible.

I'm picturing Nicky as the one who dies and Joe as the one having to deal with the bad resurrection, with lots of comfort to try and make up for the unusual amount of hurt.
