Modern AU where Andy lives in an apartment building. Joe, Nile, Booker and Quhyn are her friends who come over for game night. Nicky is Andy's new neighbor who she doesn't see a lot but he's nice enough- Andy even says she might invite him to game night because she doesn't see him with any friends except for some asshole named Keane who she thinks is Nicky's boyfriend

+Andy kinda becomes friends with Nicky because he makes really good baklava but he's always so quiet and reserved when she goes to his apartment to give back the tupperwares and she's seen his boyfriend skulking around. Fr time to time she's heard yelling but when she goes over to check on Nicky he insists everything is okay

++During game night, Booker, Joe, Nile and Quhyn hear a screaming match. Andy just bangs on the wall and yells at them to keep it down, thinking it's nothing. Except, an hour later, they hear more yelling followed by things breaking and Andy thinks she hears Nicky crying his boyfriend is screaming obscenities about Nicky cheating on him with that Andy chick (which are entirely untrue as she's dating Quhyn)

+++They go next door when the fighting gets louder and they kick down the door to her neighbor's apartment to find Keane throwing dishes and trashing the apartment and Nicky is on the floor cowering against the fridge pleading with Keane in Italian- there's bruising on his face and neck and blood coming from his nose and lip- Joe steps between them and stays with Nicky while Quyhn , Booker and Nile try to restrain Keane so Andy can call for help

No immediate Joe/Nicky but maybe a few years or so later when Nicky feels he's ready to be in a relationship again (because trauma doesn't automatically heal overnight) he's dating Joe and more open and Andy can consider him one of her real friends and not just the quiet man who lived in the apartment next door

We all just accept that they got married the moment it became legal, and they probably did. But between them finding out it's legal and the actual ceremony, Joe goes a little insane trying to find the perfect way to propose.

BONUS POINTS: Joe drives Andy crazy by running every idea by her.

Their immortality also means they have no refractory period at all.

Down for any possibilities this entails—awkward attempts to explain to a mortal lover why they’re still unsatisfied after round one, Joe/Nicky marathon sex, days-long team orgy, Andy taking advantage of the fact that Booker can always get/stay hard to ride him until she’s come an absurd number of times, you name it.

Just give me all the quality content of them learning each other’s languages, cooking each other delicacies from home, celebrating each other’s religious festivals together, etc.

After the inevitable confrontation with Quynh (and epic make-up sex), Andy and Quynh get married. The rest of the team has a field day arranging everything, organising bachelorette parties for both of them, etc.

Nicky and Joe have been thirsting after Booker for a while but they’ve never asked him to join them because he only ever talked about his wife so they assumed he wasn’t into men. One night (in a happy future after he’s back from exile) Booker casually mentions a fling he had with one of his fellow soldiers back in the Napoleonic Wars, and Joe and Nicky aren’t wasting any more time.

Early on after Booker joins the team, he walks in on Joe and Nicky. He leaves in a hurry, but not before he gets quite an eyeful. Andy takes one look at his face (and the tent in his pants) and is like “yeah, I know, it’s infuriatingly hot, right?”

And that’s how they start a friends with benefits arrangement to take the edge off every time Joe and Nicky can’t wait for privacy (which is often).

Too tired/not in the mood to have sex but enough in the mood to just lazily make out before going to sleep.

After killing the guards in the van, when they're on the place, Joe keeps mouthing off to Keane. Hitting Joe doesn't make him stop, so Keane decides that he's going to take every word out of Joe's mouth out on Nicky.

Joe and Nicky get attacked by homophobes, who soon realise they chose the wrong couple to try and beat down.

I found out the name of the cashier is Celeste

Anywho after patching up Andy and whatnot, Andy decides Celeste is trust worthy and the team become regulars at her little convenience store, enough so that they sometimes use the store as a base when they have missions in that area

+Nile gets a secondary job there as a cover but ends up staying to work when they have jobs there

++Nicky and Joe make Celeste some sort of sweets to celebrate her birthday

+++Booker will feign shopping if he thinks some guy who's up to no good is there when Celeste has the night shift

++++Andy walks Celeste home when it's dark to make sure she gets home safe

Back in the day it was usually Andy/Quynh and Nicky/Joe, but casual, friendly group sex would happen occasionally. At some point after they lose Quynh (long enough that the wound isn’t still super fresh), Nicky and Joe wonder if they should invite Andy to bed with them again, or if it will just be weird and awkward for her without Quynh.

(I could honestly go either way on a Quynh-less threesome turning out good, bad, or a little of both, just curious to see where someone might take this idea!)

The group is at a club and a drunk guy (Nicky) accidentally spills a drink on Joe but afterwards he loses the guy in the crowd. Joe sits himself at the bar and he sees the cute Italian guy around during the night

When they all go to leave for the night,Andy and Booker point out something down the street and they realize it's the drunk guy from the club being crowded against the wall and fighting off someone

So I saw in an interview Luca Marinello said he sometimes doesn't understand British accents when talking to British people and Nicky was very quiet when they first meet Merrick.

So Merrick is being all smarmy and British and condescending and he calls Nicky a mouse. Nicky looked super confused and Joe says "He thinks you're a mouse, Nicky"

To that, Merrick moves to grab Nicky's face, talking about how between Nicky and Joe, Nicky is much more meek in comparison to Joe

When Merrick grabs Nicky's face during his whole mouse speech, he makes the mistake the mistake of shoving his fingers in Nicky's mouth so Nicky bites him- while Nicky doesn't fully understand the British accent, he understands a man trying to weild power where he shouldn't

Nicky gets sexually assaulted by one of the guards while in the lab but nobody knows about it. They kill the man responsible during the escape anyway. Up to the writer how bad the assault was.

Nicky doesn’t say a word of it to anyone, especially Joe, decides to deal with it by himself. He makes a slow recovery but then the team decides to re-admit Booker believing that they need to be there for him. Nicky is against it because seeing Booker is triggering to him but the rest outvotes him. He gets into fights with Joe over it but is scared to lose him, so eventually gives up.

Heavy angst with Bookers presence actively hindering Nicky’s recovery. For example, constantly hearing how it was their fault that Booker betrayed them, makes Nicky believe that his assault was his own fault. (Maybe even as far as starting to believe it was an actual punishment from God for failing Booker) Or Nicky freaking out during a mission thinking that Booker betrayed them again is seen as him endangering the mission on purpose, to undermine Booker, so now Nicky thinks he’s a liability to the team.

His behaviour is seen as him being stubborn and unforgiving.

Bonus:
- Joe was in contact with Booker behind Nicky’s back
- Joe makes a speech or two about how disappointed he is in Nicky
- someone making comments re: forgiveness in context of Nicky’s religious believes (ie: God would want you to forgive, I thought Catholics believe in forgiveness, you’re only religious when it suits you etc)

No team bashing. They have no idea what happened, don’t even suspect, believe that helping Booker’s recovery is their duty and Nicky is just being a stubborn ass the hi need to get over himself

I'd really live to see something where Nicky was the one to initiate sex the first time. Maybe Joe (Yusuf at the time) has never been with a man, maybe he's uncertain that his interest is returned, maybe Nicolo just runs out of patience first... however you want to frame it, I just want Nicky to be the one to make the first move.
